About

Byte Fork is a space where I try to understand software engineering by writing about it. If something is complex, I break it down and explain it as simply and clearly as I can. Writing helps me think—and if you're learning too, you might find something useful here.

I care more about clarity than cleverness, and prefer asking good questions over rushing to answers. I’m more interested in why things work the way they do, not just how to make them work.

This blog is also where I try to question assumptions—not to provoke, but to learn more deeply and think from first principles. Software is full of defaults, tradeoffs, and legacy ideas. I like to pause and ask whether they still make sense.

My goal is to make complex ideas easier to understand—for myself first, and hopefully for others too.Start your own thing.
